One of Sea Ray's more popular models, the 27' Sundancer, is built on the same solid fiberglass hull used for her immediate predecessor, but with a revised deck profile and an updated cockpit layout. With a relatively narrow, this is a trailerable boat but only with a 3/4-ton truck. The companionway is on the centerline in this newer model and the old bi-fold companionway door was replaced with a sliding acrylic door which is easier to operate. Inside, the mid-cabin floorplan is essentially unchanged from the previous 27' model. There are berths for four along with a small galley and a stand-up head with shower. Storage is at a premium but the mid-cabin berth is large enough to accommodate two adults in reasonable comfort. On deck, a double helm seat with a full aft-facing seat, refreshment center, and fold-away rear seat were standard.
